About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at BHC Canada Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confer with clients to identify requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Design and develop information systems business solutions using various technologies, including COBOL, Java, SQL, and Oracle.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Analyze technical documents and reports to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address them.
  • Code information collected and enter data into databases to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or information systems.
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field, with a strong background in business systems analysis and software development.
  • Oracle Certification and proficiency in COBOL, Java, SQL, and Oracle.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
