About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Spice Hut Canada Franchise Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our customers.
  • Chef Supervision: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to prepare and present dishes to the highest standard.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to achieve our culinary goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Cuisine Specialties: East Indian cuisine.
  • Government Programs: Recognized employer with permanent work term and 40 hours per week.
