About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Big Rock Garage Restaurant & Lounge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our restaurant's culinary expertise and appeal to a wide range of tastes.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality dishes.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our menu demands.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
