We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Controller to join our team in Toronto.


About the Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the rigorous management of projects within our clients' organizations. This includes developing and monitoring project budgets, identifying risks, and implementing strategies to mitigate them.


You will also be required to prepare regular reports on project progress and communicate results to stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and monitor project budgets, integrating relevant analyses to ensure rigorous and transparent budget management.
  • Ensure that costs are in line with set objectives, while identifying risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Prepare regular reports on project progress, communicating results to stakeholders and recommending actions based on your analyses.
  • Implement financial management strategies to maximize operational efficiency and improve overall project performance.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A university degree in business administration, engineering, finance, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in cost and planning management, with a solid knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in technological tools such as MS Project, Planisware, and Primavera P6.
  • The ability to create a schedule from scratch, translating each step into clear and measurable goals.

What to Expect


During the recruitment process, you can expect to participate in a series of interviews, including:



  • A 15-20 minute telephone interview with a recruitment officer.
  • A standard one-hour initial consultation with the business manager via Microsoft Teams.
  • A one-hour technical interview with a consultant on assignment to assess your project management skills.
  • A final exchange with the agency manager/senior business manager to discuss the conditional offer and benefits.

$90,000 - $120,000 per year


The estimated salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of experience and qualifications required for the role.
