We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Project Management Professional to join our team at Groupe Primero Amériques, Inc. in Canada.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that involves overseeing various projects across different industries with a focus on sustainability. The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more of experience in project management, preferably in the mining and smelting sector.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets. You will also be tasked with directing and controlling daily operations, evaluating their effectiveness, and planning and controlling budget and expenditures.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be required to provide detailed information and guidance to clients on project analysis and design. This will involve overseeing the analysis of data and information, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

You will also be responsible for providing certification-related information, such as provincial and territorial professional engineer registration. Additionally, you will need to assess the candidate's previous experience in this field of employment and ensure they have the required certifications.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience. Our benefits package includes a dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, vision care benefits, life insurance, and a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP). We also offer a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), travel insurance, and a wellness program.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Provincial and Territorial professional engineer registration
  • 5 years or more of experience in project management, preferably in the mining and smelting sector
Preferred Qualifications
  • Green job experience involving duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes
  • Bilingualism (English/French)
