About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all project cost control support, including daily cost allocations, scope change management, and profit and loss reporting. This position will be based out of Toronto, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up project PM system with related cost, quantity, hours data, ensuring alignment with estimate.
  • Manage project cost and revenue budgets.
  • Oversee daily timesheet labor, equipment, and procurement costs allocation to CBS code.
  • Assess and report project committed, incurred, and forecasted costs.
  • Ensure project cost coding management aligns with original budget cost code allocations, scope changes, and internal cost trends.
  • Produce project and portfolio cost and cash flow reporting and Earned Value Management reporting.
  • C coordinate with construction management team to ensure direct and subcontractor trades productivity management.
  • Coordinate LEMS workflow for timely project invoicing approval.
  • Prepare monthly project invoicing and track receivables with Finance Team.
  • Manage cost management analysis for internal Profit and Loss Quarterly reporting.
  • Account for and manage project risk and contingency.
  • Calculate project accruals and communicate with project finance team.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized professional with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field and/or relevant combination of experience.
  • 7+ years of Project Controls experience.
  • Experience on large infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of cost engineering best practices.
  • AACEI CCP (Certified Cost Professional) certification an asset.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management and Project Management Software.
  • Proficient in MS Office with focus on Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills with project team and clients.
