About the Role

The Business Development Executive role is a pivotal position for the growth of Machinio.com, a rapidly expanding platform connecting buyers with sellers from various equipment industry segments.

Machinio.com is innovating a $400 BILLION dollar industry, and this role offers a unique opportunity to be part of something unconventional with limitless growth potential.

As a key member of our team, you will establish relationships with potential clients, business owners, and C-level executives in Quebec, sign them on as members, and acquire customers to generate revenue for our core product.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to establish and maintain relationships with potential clients and business partners.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas, and collaborate with the North American Business Development team to improve aspects applicable to your role and the overall growth of the company.
  • Comply with KPIs and goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to establish relationships from scratch and negotiate effectively.
  • Fluent in French and able to learn quickly.
  • Ability to serve as a consultant, with a problem-solving approach.
  • Confidence in carrying/maintaining/exceeding sales quotas.

Compensation

  • Base salary and uncapped commission structure.

  • Final interview with the Director of Sales, North America.
