About the Role

Canguard Building Maintenance Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision and Coordination
    • Oversee and coordinate the work of other administrative staff members
  • Scheduling and Communication
    • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
    • Answer and relay telephone calls and messages
    • Respond to electronic inquiries and correspondence
  • Office Management
    • Order and maintain office supplies and inventory
    • Manage and maintain accurate records and files
  • Customer Service
    • Greet and direct visitors to the appropriate contacts or service areas
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external clients
  • Administrative Support
    • Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents
    • Provide administrative support to management and other staff members as needed
    Requirements and Qualifications
    • Education and Experience
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience in a similar role is an asset
    • Skills and Abilities
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Strong organizational and time management skills
      • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
      • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
    • Work Environment
      • 35-37 hours per week
      • Permanent full-time position
      • English language required
