About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Change and Transformation Specialist to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our goals by providing expertise and guidance on how to deliver change.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with business leaders and other team members to help deliver end-to-end business change required through identified initiatives within our Wealth Management Europe change agenda. This includes providing project support, governance oversight for the RBC Brewin Dolphin WME Change Portfolio, and ensuring adherence to RBCBD governance and assurance best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide PMO support to Tower Leads and/or Programme/Project Managers in the management of their respective change projects, with a focus on coordination, planning, and control using PMO tools and templates.
  • Implement and maintain appropriate systems to support safe and successful project delivery and support programme and project managers to use these consistently and effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of programme and project documentation, including status reports and steering committee packs, and provide quality assurance on content.
  • Provide secretariat support to key project and programme governance forums as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Project/Change Management and/or Business Analysis.
  • Project/Programme management qualification, e.g., Prince2, MoP, APM, and understanding and experience of other project management methodologies (e.g., Agile).
  • Ability to work-in a team-based and collegial environment where consensus-building is a key to success.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Evidence of stakeholder management/working in a network environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of managing communications and engagement at all levels from C-Suite and project sponsorship, through to fellow team members and stakeholders.
