Key Responsibilities
- Support and deliver daily living activities, including ambulatory care, personal hygiene, companionship, and nutritional support
- Build trusted relationships with residents, families, and team members through effective communication
- Document task completion on our electronic health record platform and identify changes in resident care needs
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker Certification from a certified facility or internationally educated nurse
- Strong drive, respect, and understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role
- Focus on teamwork and customer service, with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with organizational and time management skills
- Volunteer/working experience in a Senior Living setting is an asset
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or willingness to obtain one
