Business Development Representative Opportunity

About the Role:

Firmex is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within existing and greenfield accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new business opportunities through cold call and email outreach, leveraging tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo to build contact lists of highly qualified prospects.
  • Collaborate with marketing and Sales Executive teams to execute campaigns focused on driving demand within targeted industries and strategic accounts.
  • Record all sales activity and intelligence in Salesforce and report on success metrics.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Firmex's value proposition and effectively communicate it to prospects and clients.

Requirements:

  • 6-12 months of B2B sales experience or a recent post-secondary graduate eager to begin a career in B2B technology sales.
  • Ability to attend in-person team-building and strategy sessions, company events, and client meetings in the Toronto area.
  • A 'hunter' mentality- a competitive mindset with a strong desire to win.
  • Resilient attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and demonstration skills.
  • Highly diplomatic and respectful.
  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Groove is a plus.
