Job Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at G&M Bros Trucking LTD. As an integral part of our office operations, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff and management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks: Coordinate the flow of information within the team, direct and control daily operations, open and distribute mail and other materials, plan and organize daily operations, establish and implement policies and procedures, plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies, schedule and confirm appointments, manage contracts, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, answer electronic enquiries, compile data, statistics and other information, oversee the preparation of reports, order office supplies and maintain inventory, negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers, oversee payroll administration, greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents, perform data entry, provide customer service, consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support, conduct performance reviews.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, MS Access, MS Office, Quick Books, Google Drive, electronic mail.
  • Area of Specialization: Correspondence, reports and records, contracts, invoices, project management.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, accurate, reliability, accountability, quick learner.
