Business Development Executive

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Business Development Executive with previous experience within the Cleaning & Hygiene market to join our team at Bunzl Canada Inc.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding net new customers in the Educational, Contract Cleaning, Health Care, and Government sectors within BC's lower mainland. They will work closely with local sales managers to identify underdeveloped local customers and implement strategies to grow revenue and market share.
The Business Development Executive will be 100% focused on new business, supported by sales coordinators. They will consult first and sell second, understanding customers' needs and bringing innovative solutions to help them grow their business. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as strong presentation skills for interaction with internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:- Drive revenues and market share by targeting strategic key accounts and pursuing a strategic plan.
- Consult first and sell second, understanding customers' needs and bringing innovative solutions to help them grow their business.
- Partner with local sales, operations, marketing, finance, purchasing, technical service, HR, and management to develop and deliver compelling customer presentations and unique offerings.
- Work closely with local sales professionals and sales manager to ensure seamless account management and hunting for new business.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Cleaning & Hygiene Sales or Marketing with expertise in new business development.
- Proven account development, onboarding, and account management skills including strategic planning and execution, creativity, communication, and administration.
- Excellent Microsoft Suite and CRM abilities, with willingness to learn and manipulate customer-specific software.
- Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to prospect and develop an integrated strategy in both product and program.
$120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus car allowance and annual bonus.
