SAP Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications & Events Specialist to join our SAP iXp Internship Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing events, and providing internal communications support for our SAP Labs Montreal Office.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy to align with our national comms strategy and collaborate with teammates in Vancouver and Waterloo.
- Create compelling and effective content across various channels, including digital signage, SharePoint landing pages, email banners, newsletters, and event branding.
- Plan, promote, and execute national events, including annual marquee events such as all-hands meetings, executive visits, holiday parties, and summer parties.
- Support the management of events, including logistics, coordination, and speaker preparation.
- Define project scope and objectives, determine work plans for team members, track event performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal partners, including IT, Facilities, and Security, as well as external SAP vendors, such as caterers and event companies.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in both oral and written English, with French language a differentiator.
- Experience with graphic design, video production, and editing.
- Knowledge of industry trends in branding and marketing.
- Experience with event coordination, project management, and content creation.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent.
