We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications & Events Specialist to join our team at SAP Labs Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing events, and providing internal communications support.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement internal communications strategies to align with the national comms strategy and teammates in Vancouver and Waterloo.
- Create compelling and effective content across various channels, including digital signage, SharePoint landing pages, email banners, newsletters, and event branding.
- Plan, promote, and execute national events, including marketing materials, meeting content, coordination, and speaker preparation.
- Support the running of annual marquee events, such as all-hands meetings, executive visits, holiday party, and summer party.
- Define project scope and objectives, determine a work plan for team members to support events, track event performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal partners, such as IT, Facilities, and Security, as well as external SAP vendors, such as caterers and event companies.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both oral and written English, and French language a differentiator.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better.
- Event coordination and project management experience, with a strong understanding of business writing style and how to message across different audiences.
- Basic Excel skills and experience with graphic design tools, such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent, with a strong passion for lifelong learning and a willingness to commit to a full-time internship.
