Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Sussex Insurance Agency (Crest Plaza) Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events. They will also be responsible for recording and preparing minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, as well as scheduling and confirming appointments. Additionally, they will be responsible for answering electronic enquiries, compiling data, statistics, and other information, and setting up and maintaining manual and computerized information filing systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office, and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The working hours for this role are 35 hours per week, and the language of work is English. The duration of employment is permanent, and the candidate will be required to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Answer electronic enquiries
- Compile data, statistics, and other information
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- English language
- 35 hours per week
