About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of HR Business Partners, the Senior HRBP plays a crucial role in supporting Sales Distribution teams globally, aligned with AGF's strategic priorities. This individual will take a broad view, understanding the industry and firm landscape, aligning HR initiatives with strategy, and anticipating future trends and challenges. They will be comfortable navigating both the big picture and detailed aspects of HR operations, resolving complex issues, and providing consultative support to the business on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities Specific to Sales Distribution Businesses:

  • HR Strategy Support
  • Support the alignment of the HR strategy with AGF's strategic objectives and develop actionable strategies to achieve them.
  • Regularly review deliverables based on changes in the business environment or the firm's strategic objectives.
  • Talent Management
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement talent acquisition strategies that align with business-specific growth objectives.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends and inform decisions about talent management initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with HR trends and frameworks focused on talent management and development.
  • Employee Experience
  • Support the rollout and action planning of the annual employee engagement survey to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage conflict resolution processes in a timely and fair manner.
  • Total Rewards
  • Support the development and implementation of total rewards programs to align with business objectives and market trends.
  • Performance Management Programs
  • Support performance management programs to ensure alignment with AGF's strategic objectives and assist leaders in maintaining a high-performing culture.
  • Implement a continuous feedback system to provide regular and candid development feedback to employees.
  • Work closely with leaders to ensure fair and consistent application of performance standards.

Candidate Profile + Qualifications:

  • University bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resources Management.
  • 8-10 years of experience in HR, preferably within the Financial Services Industry.
  • Experience supporting a sales team would be beneficial.
  • A self-starter with project management skills and the ability to break down complex processes efficiently.
  • Described as possessing high integrity, empathy, intuition, ethical conduct, sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness demonstrated in leadership approach, problem-solving, and decision-making.

This role comes with a salary range of $120,000-$150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
