Job Title: Senior Sales Development Manager - Central Ontario

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Manager to spearhead sales initiatives in Central Ontario, reporting directly to our National Sales Director. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of targeted sales strategies through distribution and system integrator channels.

Your primary goal will be to consistently exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional value to our customers and ABB. With a strong focus on expanding market share, boosting profitability, and enhancing customer satisfaction, you will play a critical role in driving growth and success in this region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of account plans and growth strategies, ensuring sales targets are met through structured follow-up processes across divisions and countries.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to pursue key motor and packaging opportunities, ensuring comprehensive market coverage.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, taking proactive action to stay competitive and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Develop synergies with other ABB business lines, leveraging existing customer relationships to pursue joint opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • + 5 years of proven track record in sales, service sales, or strategic business development in the Ontario market.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing customer accounts and sales strategy.
  • Good knowledge of the industrial distribution landscape and commercial go-to-market strategy for Distribution and System Integrator Accounts.
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM platforms, Salesforce a plus.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% within the Ontario region (occasional national travel).
