We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team at Computacenter, a leading independent technology partner. This position will be responsible for managing and growing our relationship with the Department of National Defence and Intelligence in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and align with our Winning Together values.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Department of National Defence and Intelligence.
  3. Create and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive growth within the assigned account.
  4. Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to the defence sector.
  5. Identify customer needs and propose tailored IT solutions that address those needs, leveraging Computacenter's full portfolio of services and products.
  6. Work closely with Sales Managers, Vendors, and Internal Resources to ensure open communications and delivery of contracted solutions to customers.
  7. Act as the primary point of contact for the Department of National Defence and Intelligence, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
  8. Understand and abide by all security and operational policies.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the Department of National Defence and Intelligence, its structure, unique challenges, and needs.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably within the IT or defence sectors.
  3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  4. Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  5. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
