About the Role

Morson Canada is seeking an experienced Strategic Business Growth Manager to lead our business development efforts in the defense sector.

Job Description

The Strategic Business Growth Manager will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Department of National Defence (DND) and Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) markets.

You will work closely with our sales team to identify new business opportunities, develop targeted marketing campaigns, and build relationships with key decision-makers at DND and PSPC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the DND and PSPC markets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including RFPs and RFIs
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at DND and PSPC
  • Work closely with our sales team to develop targeted marketing campaigns
  • Provide market intelligence and analysis to inform business decisions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in business development and sales in the defense sector
  • Strong understanding of the DND and PSPC markets, including their organizational structures, buying methods, and existing and emerging deals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related technical field; MBA preferred

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires ability to commute/relocate to Ottawa, ON.
