We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner/Nursing Supervisor at the Jubilee Centre in Timmins, Ontario.

Job Description:

This leadership position is responsible for providing direct supervision to a small front-line nursing team and leading planning and implementation of innovative services to increase capacity and access to specialized behavioural health services and primary care.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in addiction and mental health, with experience working effectively with diverse communities and marginalized individuals.
  • They will possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and community partners.
  • Experience in policy development, program planning, and evaluation is an asset, as is proficiency in the use of IT systems and computers for word processing, email, and data entry.
Required Qualifications:
  • A registered CNO member in good standing in the Extended Class, RN(EC), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or candidate to the profession (NP license pending).
  • Registration with a Nursing regulatory body in another Canadian jurisdiction in the Extended Class, RN (EC), Nurse Practitioner (NP) is required.
  • CNA certification in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing is preferred.
Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus signing/retention bonus of up to $40,000 and reimbursement of relocation costs.

This is a full-time permanent position, with possibility of job share for candidates wanting part-time employment.
