We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Alliance for Healthier Communities. This is an exciting opportunity to lead innovative services, drive quality improvement, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction and mental health challenges.

About the Role:

  • As a Lead Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our nursing team, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
  • You will also develop and implement strategies to improve access, quality, and availability of specialized behavioral health services and primary care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement plans to increase capacity, access, and quality of specialized behavioral health services and primary care
  • Provide direct supervision to a small front-line nursing team
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, system partners, and community stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in policy development, program planning, and evaluation to drive continuous quality improvement

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field; NP license in good standing with CNO or candidate status pending
  • Minimum 2 years experience in primary care and mental health/addictions preferred
  • Certification in Controlled Drugs and Substances: Essential Management and Prescribing Practices preferred
  • Certificate/Training in prescribing: OAT/ORT and anti-craving therapies preferred
  • Experience working effectively with diverse communities/marginalized individuals who face barriers accessing services
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of people with addiction and/or mental health challenges
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Proficient in IT systems and computers for word processing, email, and data entry (Outlook, Excel, EHR)

What We Offer:

  • $85,000 - $115,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including extended health care, vision care, prescription drugs, dental, life insurance, and group pension plan
  • Reimbursement of annual CNO licensing and NPAO membership fees
  • Signing/retention bonus of up to $40K and reimbursement of relocation costs
  • Possibility of job share and remote work arrangements
