Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for resolving complex issues?

In this role, you will:

  • Collect and analyze data to determine the best course of action for solving fraud claims, while enhancing customer experience and minimizing losses.
  • Adjudicate liability for fraud/disputes on Tangerine Credit Card, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Prepare or direct the preparation of chargeback authorizations, Pre-arbitration documents, and arbitration proceedings under MasterCard regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering overall customer satisfaction consistent with Tangerine's standards.
  • Handle indemnity requests through proper channels, ensuring quick resolution with minimal impact on customers.
  • Manage the Tangerine Fraud Claims inbox, monitoring incoming customer inquiries, merchant doc requests, and claim follow-ups.

What skills do you need to succeed in this role?

  • Fluency in both English and French (reading, writing, and spoken) is required.
  • Experience working with Mastercard products is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TSYS systems is required.
  • Availability to work from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM EST (including occasional statutory holidays/weekends), with flexible shifts.
  • Previous Fraud/Dispute experience is necessary.
  • Post-secondary education in business or related disciplines is an asset.
  • Customer Service experience, preferably in the financial services industry, is required.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention-to-detail, and effective decision-making abilities are essential.
  • Proven interpersonal, communication, and problem-resolution skills are necessary.
