Legal Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team at Bajaj Law Professional Corporation. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our law firm.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Coordination
You will be responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments, meetings, and court sessions. This will involve coordinating with clients, lawyers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and timely follow-up.
Document ManagementYou will maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to important documents and records. This will also involve preparing and keying in correspondence and legal documents, as well as performing basic bookkeeping tasks.
Minute Taking and Record KeepingYou will be responsible for recording and preparing minutes of court sessions, meetings, and conferences. This will involve taking accurate notes, summarizing key points, and distributing minutes to relevant parties.
Administrative SupportYou will provide general administrative support to our lawyers and staff, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and performing other tasks as required.
Requirements- Education
You must have a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
ExperienceYou will have the opportunity to learn and grow with our team, and we are willing to train the right candidate. You will work in a permanent position, with a regular schedule of 32 to 44 hours per week.
LanguageYou must be fluent in English, as this is the primary language used in our law firm.
