We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our client in Edmonton. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional to lead a team and drive accurate, timely, and precise payroll results for over 2000 employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of payroll results, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage a small team of payroll members, providing training and support as needed
  • Monitor and oversee payroll functions, maintaining error-free payroll cycles
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure smooth payroll operations

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in payroll, experience working with HRIS systems, and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • Canadian Payroll (PCP or CPM) certification required
  • Ten years' experience in full-cycle payroll preferred
  • Thorough understanding of payroll-related principles, procedures, legislation, and regulations

This role offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
