Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. This is a key role that involves providing expert advice and counsel to executives, people managers, and employees on complex and high-risk workplace situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice on workplace issues and concerns to executives and senior leaders.
  • Manage highly complex cases and act as the first point of escalation for Employee Relations Advisors.
  • Work closely with Directors and Senior Directors on complex and sensitive matters.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with businesses and functions.
  • Support the development of internal resources, guidelines, and processes to facilitate Employee Relations activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of direct experience in Employee Relations and/or Employment Law.
  • Post-secondary education (preferably in Human Resources or Employment Law).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian employment law and regulations.
  • Proven experience in aligning and integrating risk management with business and HR strategy.
