About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Global Minerals & Metals (M&M) team, supporting our growth initiatives and aligning with the demand for responsibly sourced critical minerals. With a strong background in environmental studies and risk analysis, you will lead environmental assessments, biodiversity, and ecosystem services projects, from proposal generation to delivery of quality reports on time and budget.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental assessments, biodiversity, and ecosystem services projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Lead the Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability project delivery team, communicating clear objectives and project goals.
  • Support environmental permits and approvals through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including Partner Nations.
  • Understand and participate in engineering and construction processes to ensure environmental and sustainability requirements are addressed.
  • Develop and manage reports aligned with international standards and guidelines (IFC, ICMM, TNFD, UN Sustainable Development Goals, GRI, MAC-TSM, Copper Mark).
  • Promote business development activities with current and potential clients, fostering innovation and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in environmental studies and risk analysis, ecosystem management, biodiversity, natural capital, revegetation, restoration, and compensation measures.
  • Master's degree in Biology, Environment Science, Engineering, Natural Science, Sustainability Management, Geoscience, Environmental Planning, Natural Landscape, or related discipline.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to convey recommendations, ideas, and insights in reports, presentation materials, client proposals, and other written communications.
  • Relevant professional designation (B.C. R.P.Bio., P.Chem., P.Geo., P.Eng., or P.Ag.) or eligibility status in Canada.
  • Knowledge of relevant federal regulations and standards governing mining operations in Canada and the United States.
