Job Summary:

The Director, Climate Action & Reporting will support the execution of RBI's global sustainability plans, focusing on climate action and reporting. This role will assist in strategy development, lead implementation of sustainability efforts, and manage company-wide projects on specific issue areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Thinking:
  • Lead the development and implementation of RBI's sustainability strategy, including goal-setting and policy-making for climate action.
  • Benchmark and synthesize external and internal trends and insights, identifying emerging sustainability issues and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage and execute elements of RBI's sustainability plan, overseeing project management, facilitation, and execution of goals across departments and regions.
  • Lead cross-functional projects across all brands globally.
  • Communication & Reporting:
  • Track and report progress against work plans, including external sustainability commitments, to the Senior Director of Sustainability.
  • Lead sustainability reporting, updating external communications, disclosures, and frameworks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of sustainability concepts, including ESG issues, particularly in the food industry. Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and GHG accounting.
  • Skills & Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong organization and communication skills, and ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree in business, operations, sustainability, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in a top-tier consulting firm, NGO, CSR/sustainability consultancy, or sustainability-focused operations role.
