Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sustainability plans, ensuring alignment with college priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement sustainability programs.
  • Manage budget planning, contract review, and procurement processes.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, process improvements, and change management initiatives.
  • Represent the college at provincial and national levels in post-secondary sustainability organizations.
Requirements
  • Minimum four-year degree in a relevant field (sustainability, environmental science, etc.).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, or Agile project management certification is an asset.
  • Five years of progressively responsible management experience in developing sustainability initiatives and maintaining environmental compliance programs.
  • Experience leading in a unionized environment is an asset.
  • Familiarity with corporate and academic sustainability reporting frameworks.
