Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Leader for Strategic Operations to join our team at the Government of Canada - Atlantic. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your leadership skills and experience in allocating resources, establishing departments, and formulating organizational policies.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs. You will also authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions. Additionally, you will establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Establish and manage major departments and senior staff positions
  • Formulate and approve organizational policies and programs
  • Represent the organization in official functions
  • Select and develop senior staff members
  • Conduct performance reviews and administer budgets

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance at our physical location. The selected candidate must be willing to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $145,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
