About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Manager to join our team at the Government of Canada - Atlantic.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing departments, and formulating policies to drive organizational success. They will represent the organization in official functions, select executive staff, conduct performance reviews, administer budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial and operating plans
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions
  • Conduct performance reviews and administer budgets
  • Monitor financial control systems and ensure compliance with government regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years or more experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Judgement and organized

Work Environment

This is an on-site position that requires working at our physical location.

Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
