Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Haemodialysis Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team at Humber River Health's Multi-care Kidney Clinic. As a key member of our Nephrology Program, you will have the opportunity to participate in a chronic disease prevention and management approach and philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of care for patients receiving hemodialysis with a primary nursing focus. This includes providing education and follow-up to all hemodialysis patients, as well as providing primary care to assigned patients. You will also develop and update plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario;
  • BCLS certification upon hire;
  • Minimum two years acute Medical/Surgical experience;
  • Minimum two years recent Hemodialysis experience;
  • Nephrology certificate courses completed or commitment to complete within an agreed period of time;
