Our goal is to help our customers increase ridership, improve passenger experience, and achieve operational excellence. Building strong relationships is crucial to our success, and as the day-to-day partner, you will serve as a consultant to management and employees on Human Resource and related business matters.
About the RoleThis role reports to the Group HR Director and involves serving as the business subject matter expert regarding all Human Resource policy, including guidance, development, and interpretation. You will provide support on business unit restructures and organization design, facilitate new workforce planning, and maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees. Your responsibilities will also include working with leadership teams to complete talent management and succession planning efforts, conducting training needs audits, creating and facilitating training sessions, and establishing and updating programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
Responsibilities- Serve as the business subject matter expert regarding all Human Resource policy, including guidance, development, and interpretation.
- Provide support on business unit restructures and organization design.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
- Work with leadership teams to complete talent management and succession planning efforts.
- Conduct training needs audits and create and facilitate training sessions.
- Establish and update programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
- Post-secondary education with a focus on Human Resources Management.
- Experience managing large-scale projects.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
