Role Overview
Xerxes is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support the development and execution of human resource plans and objectives that closely align with the organization's overall goals for assigned business areas.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with management on human resources-related issues, act as an employee champion and change agent, assess and anticipate HR-related needs, and develop integrated solutions.
- Drive the implementation and administration of human resources programs and business initiatives, including onboarding, compensation, talent development, recruitment, and employer branding strategies.
- Serve as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues, providing guidance and support in employee relations, dispute resolution, talent development, metrics, onboarding, retention, compensation, and general HR business support.
- Support the development of strategies to address specific Human Resources issues within client business units, including recruitment, retention, labor trends, and exit interviews.
- Maintain and develop Positions Descriptions, including Job Level and Grade, educate leaders on total compensation, and manage ongoing compensation issues.
- Facilitate the coordination of on-boarding and off-boarding requirements, develop onboarding and training plans, monitor, analyze, and interpret business unit Human Resources metrics, and perform required HRIS Audits.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention, advising, consulting, and/or coaching in employee relations matters and facilitating the resolution of complex workplace disputes.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, conduct effective, thorough, and objective workplace investigations, and maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
- Assist in the administration and interpretation of company policies and procedures, regulatory and legal requirements, partner with Talent Acquisition during the recruitment cycle, provide coaching and support to management engaged in the hiring process, track, monitor, analyze, and interpret overall recruitment metrics for client group, and optimize and establish SOPs and systems.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources/Business or equivalent combination education and experience.
- 7 years of progressive generalist human resources experience, with ability and credibility to perform at a mid-level capacity within an HR group.
- Broad human resources technical skills, with specific strengths in recruitment, onboarding, training, compensation, and benefits as well as employee development and organizational development.
- Thorough knowledge of legislation and regulatory rulings impacting human resources, experience with HRIS, strong financial and business acumen, and an understanding of the needs of the business.
- Strategic capability, proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills, positive attitude, creative and flexible problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, discipline, and attention to details.
Compensation: $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market research.
