About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Banquet Porter at Vintage Hotels. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for setting up, installing, reconfiguring, relocating, and dismantling temporary partitions and furnishings of rooms to ensure seamless event execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients and guests with special needs, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough criminal record checks to maintain a safe and secure environment for our guests.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and walking, to meet the demands of event setup and execution.
  • Work collaboratively with our events team to deliver exceptional service and exceed client expectations.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
