We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Clerical Support Associate to join our dynamic Medical Imaging team at Humber River Health.

Salary: $29.966 - $31.016 per hour, plus benefits.

About the Role:

As a Clerical Support Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our Medical Imaging department. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Patient Reception and Registration: You will be responsible for greeting patients, registering them for appointments, and ensuring accurate information is collected.
  • Clerical and Communication Functions: You will maintain a high level of proficiency in administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and communication with patients and staff.
  • Film Management: You will be responsible for accurately filing film bags and reports, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • PACS Messaging System: You will monitor the PACS messaging system for verbal report requests and respond accordingly.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
  • Medical Terminology Knowledge: You must have a good understanding of medical terminology, particularly in radiology.
  • Experience in Radiology and IMS (PACS) Environment: Experience working in a radiology environment with IMS (PACS) systems is essential.
  • Meditech Module ITS (Radiology) Experience: You must have experience with Meditech's ITS (Radiology) module.
  • Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, including keyboarding at 40 wpm, are required.
  • Communication and Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills are necessary to effectively interact with patients and staff.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: You must be able to prioritize tasks, manage your time efficiently, and work well under pressure.
