Medical Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Medcan. As a medical imaging professional, you will be responsible for performing X-ray and bone density scans, as well as maintaining radiographic equipment and processing patient data.
Job Summary:
The Medical Imaging Specialist will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, collaborating with physicians and radiologists to ensure high-quality patient care. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

What We Offer:
- A competitive base salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities:
- Patient preparation for and performance of X-ray and bone density scans, following established guidelines and procedures
- Record and process patient data, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, performing basic quality control checks
- Maintain client information and update files as necessary
- Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to review written reports and discuss patient results
Requirements:
- Certification with the Canadian Medical and Radiological Technology Regulators (CMRITO) and General Radiography experience
- Superior organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
