Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Receptionist to join our Joint Department of Medical Imaging team at Toronto General Hospital. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient flow and excellent customer service. Your duties will include greeting patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records. You will also be responsible for handling payment and billing inquiries, responding to general inquiries, and performing other administrative tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. You should have experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a certificate or diploma in a relevant field such as healthcare administration. Previous experience in a medical imaging department or similar setting would be an asset.
