About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at 832069 Ontario Limited. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of 1 to 20 people, depending on the location and size of the restaurant.
    • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure that the restaurant runs efficiently and effectively.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to help them improve their performance.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
    • Manage inventory and ensure that it is properly stocked and rotated.
    • Conduct cost analysis and make recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing plans to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
    • Participate in marketing events and promotions to increase brand awareness.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that the restaurant is in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
    • Develop and implement procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to stand for extended periods. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment is essential.
