About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team at Katand Enterprises Inc. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition and manage inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Lead a team of bakers in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Prepare special orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Manual dexterity
  • Overtime required
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods
