Bakery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Foreman/Woman to join our team at Dr Laffa Bakery. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our bakery and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members.
- Production and Quality Control
- Oversee the production process, ensuring that all products meet our quality standards and are delivered on time.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Operations and Logistics
- Coordinate the receipt and storage of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that they are properly labeled and stored.
- Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Communication and Teamwork
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers to ensure that their needs are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a bakery or related industry.
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced bakery environment, with regular exposure to flour, sugar, and other ingredients. They will also be required to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
