Bakery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Foreman/Woman to join our team at Dr Laffa Bakery. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our bakery, ensuring that our products are of the highest quality and that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and train a team of 5-10 staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
- Production and Quality Control
- Oversee the production process to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to identify and address any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to avoid stockouts and overstocking.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work with customers to resolve any issues that may arise and ensure that they are satisfied with our products and services.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Work Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related industry
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced bakery environment, with regular exposure to flour, sugar, and other ingredients. They will also be required to work in a team environment, with regular communication and collaboration with colleagues.
