Bakery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team at Frontier Bakery. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring the highest quality products are produced while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Production Management
- Plan and coordinate the production of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
- Ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Team Supervision
- Supervise and train a team of bakers and pastry chefs to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
- Provide guidance and support to help team members overcome challenges and improve their performance.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
- Monitor and control costs associated with inventory and supplies.
- Quality Control
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our standards.
- Identify and address any quality issues promptly.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed in the bakery.
- Monitor and report any health and safety incidents or near-misses.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience
- At least 7 months of experience in a bakery or related industry.
- Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures.

- Work in a fast-paced bakery environment.

- Stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
