Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of our baked goods, managing a team of baking personnel, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management
    • Plan and coordinate the production of baked goods, including dough preparation, baking, and decorating.
    • Ensure that production schedules are met and that products are delivered to customers on time.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and train a team of baking personnel, including bakers, decorators, and production assistants.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Quality Control
    • Monitor and control the quality of our baked goods, including taste, texture, and appearance.
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure that products meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels of ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
    • Order materials and supplies as needed to ensure that production can continue uninterrupted.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to our customers, including responding to their needs and concerns.
    • Work with customers to resolve any issues related to our products or services.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a bakery or related industry.
  • Skills
    • Ability to distinguish between colors.
    • Attention to detail.

    • Hand-eye coordination.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. The successful candidate will be required to work in a large volume bakery environment and will be expected to be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
