About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Cordeiro Roofing Ltd. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare comprehensive estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  2. Develop and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors
  3. Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates and timely project completion
  4. Analyze tenders and recommend awards for construction projects
  5. Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure project profitability
  6. Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms for construction projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  1. 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating
  2. Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work in a team environment
  5. Organizational and time management skills
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 44-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced estimating environment and must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
