Construction Estimator Job Opportunity

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing construction estimates for large-scale projects.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or construction management, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in estimating complex projects. You will be responsible for analyzing construction drawings and blueprints, as well as possessing a deep understanding of construction methods, contracts, and cost control techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze intricate construction drawings and blueprints to estimate project costs.
  2. Develop and implement construction estimates for large-scale projects.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in construction estimating.
  5. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements
  • University degree or technical college diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • At least 8 years of experience in estimating large-scale and complex projects.
  • Expertise in analyzing construction drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, and cost control techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software, including Excel and Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
