Job Summary

Software International (SI) is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join their team. As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing estimates for high rise residential development projects, advising on tendering procedures, and establishing tendering processes.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in construction estimation, with a strong background in reviewing and working with markups. They will also have experience with take offs and a valid G/G2 driver's license.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare detailed estimates for high rise residential development projects, including costs of materials, labor, and equipment.
  2. Advise on tendering procedures, examine and analyze tenders, and recommend tender awards.
  3. Establish and maintain tendering processes, including cost monitoring and reporting systems.
  4. Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of a project.
  5. Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and up-to-date reports.
Work Environment

The Construction Estimator will work in an office environment, with occasional visits to construction sites to review progress and meet with project stakeholders. They will work closely with construction supervisors and managers to ensure accurate and up-to-date reports.

Requirements
  1. 10+ years of experience in construction estimation.
  2. 3+ years of experience working on high rise residential projects.
  3. Valid G/G2 driver's license.
  4. Experience with take offs and strong background in reviewing and working with markups.
