Job Title: Construction Estimator

Software International is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing estimates for high rise residential development projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates for high rise residential development projects, including costs of materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Advise on tendering procedures and examine tenders to recommend awards and conduct negotiations.
  • Establish and maintain tendering processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems to track project progress.
  • Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts to inform project decisions.
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage and coordinate construction projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in construction estimation.
  • 3+ years of experience working on high rise residential projects.
  • Holds a valid G/G2 driver's license.
  • Experience with take-offs and reviewing markups.
