About the Opportunity

This is a full-time role offering 70 hours of bi-weekly work with regular working hours of 7 hours per shift.

Job Description

The Organizational Effectiveness Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing organizational performance and individual development across the organization. They will apply behavioral science knowledge to support strategic planning, team development, change management, learning strategies, and performance management.

This position requires strong facilitation skills, adult education experience, and the ability to develop innovative approaches for leadership development, organization design, coaching, and work/life balance. The successful candidate will provide advice on internal and external learning and organizational development issues.

Responsibilities
  • SUPPORT THE PLANNING, DEVELOPMENT, DELIVERY, AND EVALUATION OF ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES TO MEET LONG-TERM AND SHORT-TERM NEEDS IN SUPPORT OF THE STRATEGIC DIRECTION OF THE ORGANIZATION.
  • IDENTIFY, IMPLEMENT, AND EVALUATE APPROACHES/INTERVENTIONS TO IMPROVE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ORGANIZATION.
  • PROVIDE GROUP FACILITATION SUPPORT FOR STRATEGIC PLANNING, TEAM DEVELOPMENT FOR VARIOUS TEAMS.
  • DEVELOP LEARNING STRATEGIES FOR BAYCREST INITIATIVES/PROJECTS AND MANAGE PARTS OF THE LEARNING DESIGN AND DELIVERY PROCESS.
  • SUPPORT/CHEERLEAD MANAGERS AND DEPARTMENTS WITH THE PLANNING AND DELIVERY OF DEPARTMENT-SPECIFIC CHANGE MANAGEMENT, IMPROVEMENT, OR LEARNING ACTIVITIES.
  • PROVIDE ADVICE ON INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL LEARNING AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ISSUES TO STAFF AND MANAGEMENT.
  • SEARCH AND PREPARE PROPOSALS FOR EXTERNALLY CONTRACTED LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT OR ENGAGEMENT SERVICES.
Requirements
  • University Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Business or Related Field Required.
  • Adult Education Certificate Required.
  • Change Management Certificate an Asset.
  • Three to Five Years of Related Experience Required.
  • Demonstrated Effective Coaching, Facilitating, Systems Thinking Skills and Ability to Develop Learning Strategies.
  • Advanced Understanding of Methodologies/Approaches for Learning, Strategic Planning, Organization Design, Leadership Development, Change Management, Performance Management, Coaching, Diversity, and Developing a Healthy Workplace.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication, Listening, and Presentation Skills.
  • Excellent Organizational, Planning, and Time/Project Management Skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Education and Experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives.
