We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as the Director, Organizational Development. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of over 8,000 healthcare professionals and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
What will you do?
The Director, Organizational Development will provide effective leadership and strategic direction in organizational development, change management, employee engagement, and talent management. This role will lead a team and contribute to the development and execution of organizational development strategies, plans, initiatives, and programs aligned with our organization's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership, guidance, and expertise to the development and execution of organizational development, change management, employee engagement, and talent management strategies, plans, initiatives, and programs.
- Contributes to strategic and operational planning of the HRODE portfolio, including the People Strategy and Annual Business Plan, and identifies opportunities for program and service enhancements.
- Collaborates with senior leaders to identify key areas for improvement and change.
Requirements include:
- University degree in organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology, organizational behaviour, human resources, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- CHRP/CHRL designation an asset.
- Change management training and certification an asset.
- Executive coaching certification an asset.
- Certified Training and Development Professional designation an asset.
- Minimum eight (8) to ten (10) years related experience with three (3) to five (5) years in a management role (people and projects).
- Visibility and credibility as a respected change manager in periods of transition and significant change.
- Strong Generalist experience; health care experience is preferred.
- Experience leading in a unionized environment preferred.
